My Dubai Experience: The Places I’d visited
Then after some immigration process, we went outside the airport and my cousin’s friend, who is still living in Dubai almost 7-8 years, was waiting outside to pick us and going to our hotel. I was shocked looking at our hotel room. How bad a hotel room could be!!!! The residence experience was bad and I don’t wanna share it.
Obviously my father came to Dubai for his business purposes, so he wasn’t even
focusing on visiting different places. So he and his friends left me and my
cousin alone in entire Dubai trip with some cashes. So we took my cousin’s
friend as a tourist guide and went to various places.
I think around 6pm, he took us into his car and went to the largest mall in
entire Dubai, called The Dubai Mall.
If we take 5 Bashundhara city shopping mall and covert those into one mall,
that will become into Dubai Mall and that is so huge.
In the mall, we saw various types of shops including well-known chocolate
brands, perfume brands, gadget stores etc. Also there is ice rink section where
children were playing. I wanted to go into that but my cousin scolded me saying
“ARE YOU A CHILD???”

So we went forward into the mall and saw an artificial water fall made into the Dubai Mall.
After taking some pics, we went forward and saw a massive aquarium made into the dubai mall which is almost 3-4 floors tall.

But unfortunately due to lack of cash, we couldn’t buy a ticket to go to Burj Khalifa and go to the highest floor. So we were enjoying the scenario from outside. There was an opera theatre and an opera was performing from that theatre and surprisingly enough that fountain and Burj Khalifa lights were synced with opera so perfectly that it cannot be described using words. IT WAS SO BEAUTIFUL!!!
After spending some hours, we went to Plum Jumeirah. The night view of Plum Jumeirah was insane. After spending couple of hours, then we went back to our hotel and continued our journey next day.
So on next day, we went to medical fair with my father for business purpose and met some new peoples. Some Chinese business partners in that fair already knew me and spent some times with them having some chats. But my cousin was getting bored in the fair. So he took me and went back to our hotel because around 2pm, a car would be sent in front of our hotel to take us to the Desert Paradise.
Some Pictures of Desert :3
For the first time, I saw a deserted island and it was incredible. Our driver was doing some stunts on desert and we were screaming. After that we rode on camel for camel ride. At the evening, there was a show arranged by the authority of the desert paradise for tourist. We enjoyed the show then have some dinner. After having dinner at approximately 8pm, our driver took us to our hotel at around 10-11pm. Now let’s share a funny incident. After coming back to our hotel, I was hungry. In my wallet, there was only 50 dirhams left. So I went to nearby Pakistani restaurant to have some foods. Man I love Pakistani foods a lot. If I have an opportunity to marry a foreign girl, I will most likely marry a Pakistani girl so that she can make Pakistani foods for me.
Anyways in the menu, there was an item called Malai kebab which was around 16 dirhams and the quantity was very good. I was so sleepy at that time that I ordered 2 Malai kebab and 3 Nuns for 35 dirhams. I told my cousin to have some but refused it then he asked me how much it cost. I told him the price and immediately he told me “ Are you DUMB???” I said,” Why” After saying the word, I took my phone and calculated that the food I bought was almost around 1000 taka and I had to eat the entire food alone because nobody wanted to eat that time. So after seeing no alternatives, I ate all the foods at that night.
Whatever the next day, me and my cousin took a texi to go to The Global Village. The Global Village is very far away from the main city of Dubai and it occupies a huge area. Mainly Global Village represents the cultures and traditions of many states across the globe. So far I saw, I’d found America, India, Iraq, Iran, Kuwait, China, Japan etc. But unfortunately enough, We didn’t find any Bangladeshi state, not even a single store.

Anyways, we spent some time walking around the area and still couldn’t cover up the entire area and we also had to go back to our hotel because we had to go various shops for buying some personal and familial stuffs on the next day. After spending 2 more days for buying stuffs, we finally left Dubai and backed to Bangladesh again. But to be honest, I miss that trip and those humble peoples.
